100 Years of Female Police

A century ago the course of the first world war resulted in the formation of the first female police patrols, organised by former militant suffragettes and members of the National Union of Women Workers.

Photographer Adrian Peacock has undertaken a survey of their present-day successors, and the diverse duties they are called on to perform.
