On Friday 9th September 2016 DPF Welfare Officer, Claire Batt attended the Memorial Court, MOD Main Building after being shortlisted for a Women In Defence Award.

The category was for the 'Most Collaborative Award', – “can demonstrate that creating a collaborative working arrangement with their organisation or working with another one created a positive effect” –  having been nominated by Inspector Jayne Dunn (MDP).

The purpose of the nomination was to demonstrate how the Welfare needs and concerns of our officers were raised and managed through the introduction of a DPF specific Welfare Officer sponsored by the Force.

Claire had a lovely day networking with some truly awesome ladies and all at the DPF would like to congratulate all the nominated candidates and shortlisters on their amazing work and contributions.
