THE NEW CIVIL SERVICE PENSION SCHEME: alpha
Dear Colleague,
Next April, most Civil Servants will move into a new pension scheme called alpha. It’s important that you understand what the new pension scheme means to you.
A new Civil Service Pension scheme website has been introduced, which includes the latest information about the 2015 changes.
The new website makes it quick and easy for you to find important information that is relevant to you. You should visit the new website to find out more about the pension changes.

To help you understand how alpha will work, the Civil Service Pensions have produced –
“An Introduction into alpha” – This slide pack highlights the key features and benefits of the scheme.
“Options Exercise Presentation” -This slide pack explains for those members who will have to make a decision about when to join the new scheme – alpha.
