It is with deep regret and sadness that we notify of the loss of Peter Parkes, former Chairman of the Retired Officer Association, who passed away on Sunday 11th February after a brave battle with a long and difficult illness.
Peter’s Career with the Ministry of Defence Police spanned into four decades, commencing in 1971, retiring 2006.  Thereafter, Peter went onto become Chairman of the ROA.
Many members will know Peter and will remember him fondly, he will be sadly missed.
We are all less as a result of his passing and our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this sad time.
We have lost a loyal and strong friend and we all grieve for his passing.
