Circular 11/26
At the Defence Police Federation Annual Conference 2025, it was agreed, as part of the Succession Planning and Resilience strategy, to make changes to the Rules & Constitution (2024 version) to the following effect:
- Rule 18 (b) (i) – extend the tenure of Branch Representatives from 1 year to 3 years
and
- Rule 18 (e) (i) – change from the fourth quarter of the year to the second quarter of the year the time when Branch Representatives need to hold the Annual Branch Meeting.
Annexed to this circular is a detailed Guidance & Procedure Note to explain the manner in which the elections of Branch Representative(s) for a 3 year term will be organised during the second quarter of 2026.
