TACOS Up-Date

Dear Member,

I met with the Minister, Mark Lancaster TD MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Defence Personnel and Veterans, just before Christmas and he has committed to engage with the Cabinet Office and the Treasury, on our behalf and negotiate for an EEPA for our members.  Until that element is concluded we cannot agree to any changes to our current TACOS and as such the current package remains extant.

We hope to have something soon, but are negotiating, in line with the mandate given by you in the last ballot and will return once we have a definitive position from the Minister and the Department.
