The Defence Police Federation Annual Conference will be held on November 5th and 6th 2020 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. Annual Conference is your opportunity to raise and debate Motions from your respective Branches during the Annual Conference.
It would assist the smooth running of Annual Conference if any proposed Motions can be forwarded to DPF HQ soonest, via email to admin2@dpf.org.uk but no later than 12noon on September 11th 2020 please. This will allow CASOC (the Conference Arrangements and Standing Orders Committee) to ensure that any proposed Motion is competent and able to be debated.
Please note that any Motion being presented this year must not have been presented and defeated at Annual Conference within the last three years.
The list of Motions to be presented to Annual Conference 2020 will be published on the DPF website no later than October 2nd 2020 for members information.
To assist you, the Motions and results for 2017, 2018 and 2019 are on the
DPF website: www.dpf.org.uk/events/conference/resolutions
Motions will be accepted from the Conference floor on the day, but you are still advised to research any proposed Motion by referring to the DPF website. All Motions will also need to be proposed and seconded to be competent and debated at the Annual Conference.
Motions that were submitted in anticipation of the Annual Conference in June 2020 need not be re-submitted as CASOC will contact the proposers to confirm that they still wish the Motions to go forward.
