By DPF Admin14th October 2024Area Updates, Latest News

The Ministry of Defence Police Retired Officers’ Association held its AGM and reunion over the weekend – General Secretary Mitch Batt was honoured to attend and represent the DPF.

Mitch said: “It was great to spend time with those who dedicated years of service to the MDP. To listen to their stories and reminisce about old times.”

The ROA elected a new Chair in Mel Goudie this year. Mel retired from the force in April 2020 after 39 and a half years of dedicated service.

We wish Mel well in his new role and send our best wishes to his predecessor Geoff Heal.

Mitch added: “Anyone due to retire should definitely consider joining the Retired Officers’ Association. It’s a great way to keep in touch with friends and colleagues and catch up every year.”
