Circular 10/19 

To:      All substantive Senior Supervisory Grade (SSG) members

Following the promotion of the previous incumbent, there now exists a vacancy on the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Defence Police Federation (DPF) for a Senior Supervisory Grade Representative.

Further, following a rule change approved at the Defence Police Federation’s June 2019 Annual Conference this vacancy is now open to all substantive SSG members within the Ministry of Defence Police. Previously this was limited to geographic boundaries, but this restriction has been removed.

If any substantive SSG member is interested in being elected to the National Executive Committee for a 3-year term of office, will you please complete the Nomination Form annexed to this circular and return it to DPF Headquarters (using the e-mail addresses given) by no later than 1200hrs on Friday 02nd August 2019.

Any SSG member is entitled to nominate themselves for this election / vacancy but must obtain the support of two additional SSG members.

In the event of more than one nomination being received a ballot of all SSG members within the Force will be held. Details of the ballot will follow in due course.
