Members are advised that we have applied to the Department for an increase in pay in line with the 2014 Police Negotiating Board (PNB) agreement.
This PNB agreement has been approved by the Secretary of State for the Home Department.
The PNB agreed an increase of salary of 1% for the federated ranks with effect from 1 September 2014 and DPF have written to the Department seeking the same agreement in order to maintain parity on pay.
We will endeavour to pursue the agreement as expeditiously as possible but nevertheless advise that adhering to the due MoD processes may well result in a delay in payment as DBS requires three months to process the payment once agreement is reached.
Members will be updated whenever possible and in the usual manner.
