Update On the MDP Terms and Conditions of Service Review
As part of the ongoing discussions on changes to MDP Terms and Conditions of Service (TACOS), further meetings between the Department and the National Officers of the DPF took place on 10 and 16 December.
These meetings have been constructive and have resulted in an agreement in principle on a number of important issues. However, further discussions are required to enable the DPF to put forward their position on working hours and options that will assist the Force in remaining within its agreed budget over the coming years.
The formal negotiation process will continue in January and further updates will be issued in due course.
