It is our intention to deliver two DPF Accredited Friends courses during 2023 for this important area in supporting DPF members who find themselves subject to MDP Conduct and Performance proceedings.
These courses are open to any DPF member who actively wants to assist members in these processes. Due to the sensitive nature of these cases, confidentiality is essential.
We would ask any member who wishes to be considered for one of these courses to complete the attached application form outlining their interest and their reasons for wanting to undertake this role, returning it by email to their respective Area Secretary using the following email addresses.

Any member who has previously expressed an interest in attending a friends course is also asked to reaffirm their interest via email.
We have limited accredited friends from the SSG ranks (Inspector – C/Supt) and would especially welcome interest from members in these ranks.
The courses will run over 2 days with date/s and location/s of the courses confirmed in due course. It should be noted that it is likely that these courses will be scheduled to run over a weekend to limit the impact on operational extractions from stations.Â
