Blackfords LLP can offer a heavily discounted fee rate to all DPF members requiring  advice, assistance and representation in Divorce proceedings and financial disputes.

The family department also specialises in children disputes and the Family team, headed by Nicola Chamberlain are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

The department offers fixed fee preliminary advice services and fixed fee divorces so the members will know what services they will be getting.  The discounted rates apply to the hourly rates we would charge for additional services such as the financial disputes which cannot, by their very nature, be dealt with under a fixed fee.

The hourly rate that we can offer DPF members is £195 plus VAT.  This is extremely competitive as on average UK wide hourly rates for matrimonial disputes are between £240 – £275 plus VAT.  Some firms do not offer the fixed fee at all, and others may offer a slightly lower fixed fee but there are usually hidden extras.

We also have a Scottish partner firm offering the same rates so all DPF members could genuinely benefit.

With regard to potential conflict cases, i.e. where it is transpires that both parties to a matrimonial dispute are DPF members we have a partner firm that covers England & Wales.

If a member does wish to take advantage of the services provided they simply need to stipulate that they belong to the DPF at the initial contact, failing which the normal hourly rate will be applied.
